Grazing the tree tops, carving your pattern
Skimming glass waters, a storm on your heals
Piercing the wind in the veil of moonlight
Strumming your seraphic tune
You come to see the light of the newborn gods
To burn with the fire and frost
To hear the song of the two-stringed lyre
To wander but never be lost
So it shall be was spoken at dawn
So it shall be was heard
Up, rears the head of the innocent fawn
Love without need of a word
The love for a child cradled by it's mother
The purity of the new
A curtain drawn wide
A song softly playing
The twinkle of youthful eyes
You come to see the light of the newborn gods
To burn with the fire and frost
To hear the song of the two-stringed lyre
To wander but never be lost
Though your sight is a haze
Your wings are still with you
Fear will not conquer this maze,
Victory takes the chorus of two
A pluck from your thumb and a strum from your angel
Watch the flames as they rise from your wings
Lightning ignites from your tail of ice
The Phoenix fears not what the future will bring
As long as the dawn chorus sings
So listen, the choir that sings with the wind
The drummers that march in the storm
The encore of bittersweet strings fills the night
The players weave gossamer tears
From all those who fell, their bells wish you well
The symphony heard far and wide
When the bells of the dawn chorus ring
Your courage gives peace to the swan that won’t sing
When the bells of the dawn chorus ring
The bells of the dawn chorus ring
