You never know what you have 'till you forfeit
your right to uphold it,
in essence we all play the same,
but when one of us rises and strengthens the prizes,
we rise up to fight it and shake hands beside it,
a challenge for all and a challenge for one.
A courtship till death but a prize lay beyond,
a chance for a chance all around the maze
that gives us our sight through this visceral haze.
It's all in the end; the reveal of the truth,
It's a wonder we fire and target our youth.
Not to many we call, but from many we find,
A break from the freedom of a wandering mind.
The children of future events that we hold
to the highest esteem; but a fruitless endeavor...
A curse that will pin-hole the lockless forever.
One day we’ll find that old flower of youth,
Colors will awaken to challenge and sooth
The champions gate that hides in the sky,
Shall mirror our hearts, mysterious and sly.
It’s truly a thought to behold;
The tethered ends behind lies once foretold
But to stare at the sun means to forfeit your eyes
Yet a purpose is found, say the words of the wise.
we rise up to fight it and shake hands beside it,
a challenge for all and a challenge for one.
A courtship till death but a prize lay beyond,
a chance for a chance all around the maze
that gives us our sight through this visceral haze.
